How To Play
A quick introduction to the game
In Monster Rooms, players have one ultimate goal: to collect every Monster, Room, and Item while maximizing their Style Score to achieve the highest possible ranking.
Monster Rooms is currently in its demo version, playable for Monster Rooms PFP stakers. The demo will be released with Build Mode, and subsequently, all other game modes will be included. The How to Play mode will be expanded in future versions of the game, gradually unveiling the entire game loop. The game economy will not be included in the demo.
Home 🏠
Upon accessing the game, players will immediately see their Room. In the Home display, they can also view their Stats & Resources (Level, Style Score, Nuggets, WBucks, Health), access quick game modes like Fortune Wheel and Camera, and utilize features such as Messages and Settings.
Just above the tab bar, players will find Build Mode 🛠️, the core mechanic of the game (see below). From the tab bar, players can access the Shop, Fridge, Map, and Pranks.
Build Mode 🛠️
Players need to click the Build Mode button to access it 🔨🏠
In Build Mode, players can furnish their Room using the Monsters, Items, and Rooms in their Inventory. This can be done by clicking on the green plus button ➕ above the tab bar. In the Inventory, players can view Items, Rooms, the Host (Monster), and Sets. The Sets area indicates how many Items of a specific bundle they own, making it a favorite for collectors. By clicking on any asset, players can apply it within the Room or sell it.
Only one Monster (Host) can be placed in the Room. For Items, players must stay within the available Room Slots, which depend on the Room's rarity, player's Level and Monster's health.
Players can scale, mirror, rotate, and layer Monsters and Items up or down by clicking on them. Each Monster and Item has a specific Style Score. When players unlock a Monster or Item, they earn its Style Score. When they place it in the Room, the Style Score doubles. Based on their Style Score, players will climb the leaderboard. While in Build Mode, players can add items from their inventory.
Fortune Wheel ☸️
Players can frequently spin the wheel to collect game resources, including Stars, Nuggets, WBucks, Food, Packs, Monsters, Items, and Rooms
Camera Mode 📷
Players can tap the camera to access camera mode, which allows them to take a clean, vertical screenshot of the Room.
Shop 🛒
With the Shop players can purchase Packs, Items, Monsters, Pranks, Food and the Season Pass.
Fridge 🥑
Have you seen the heart ❤️ in the Home? It represents your Monster's life! The number of Items you can place in the Room depends on it, so make sure it’s always high!
Map 🗺️
You can travel in Wug in search for Rankings (Leaderboard) and Friends!
Prank 👿
From the prank area you can disrupt others environment with your Pranks. Use them to other diminish other's Style Score and get yourself XP!
