In Monster Rooms, players have one ultimate goal: to collect every Monster, Room, and Item while maximizing their Style Score to achieve the highest possible ranking.
Monster Rooms is currently in its demo version, playable for Monster Rooms PFP stakers. The demo will be released with Build Mode, and subsequently, all other game modes will be included. The How to Play mode will be expanded in future versions of the game, gradually unveiling the entire game loop. The game economy will not be included in the demo.
Home 🏠
Upon accessing the game, players will immediately see their Room. In the Home display, they can also view their Stats & Resources (Level, Style Score, Nuggets, WBucks, Health), access quick game modes like Fortune Wheel and Camera, and utilize features such as Messages and Settings.
Just above the tab bar, players will find Build Mode 🛠️, the core mechanic of the game (see below). From the tab bar, players can access the Shop, Fridge, Map, and Pranks.
Build Mode 🛠️
Players need to click the Build Mode button to access it 🔨🏠
In Build Mode, players can furnish their Room using the Monsters, Items, and Rooms in their Inventory. This can be done by clicking on the green plus button ➕ above the tab bar. In the Inventory, players can view Items, Rooms, the Host (Monster), and Sets. The Sets area indicates how many Items of a specific bundle they own, making it a favorite for collectors. By clicking on any asset, players can apply it within the Room or sell it.
Only one Monster (Host) can be placed in the Room. For Items, players must stay within the available Room Slots, which depend on the Room's rarity, player's Level and Monster's health.
Players can scale, mirror, rotate, and layer Monsters and Items up or down by clicking on them. Each Monster and Item has a specific Style Score. When players unlock a Monster or Item, they earn its Style Score. When they place it in the Room, the Style Score doubles. Based on their Style Score, players will climb the leaderboard. While in Build Mode, players can add items from their inventory.
Fortune Wheel ☸️
Players can frequently spin the wheel to collect game resources, including Stars, Nuggets, WBucks, Food, Packs, Monsters, Items, and Rooms
Camera Mode 📷
Players can tap the camera to access camera mode, which allows them to take a clean, vertical screenshot of the Room.
Shop 🛒
With the Shop players can purchase Packs, Items, Monsters, Pranks, Food and the Season Pass.
Fridge 🥑
Have you seen the heart ❤️ in the Home? It represents your Monster's life! The number of Items you can place in the Room depends on it, so make sure it’s always high!
This is how Monsters Feeding works. You need to keep your Monster healthy, otherwise you won't be able to perform game actions. The hungrier it gets, the more penalties you’ll face. There are five hunger stages:
Full (>75%) no penalties
Almost Full (75%<) less rewards for cleaning up pranks
Hungry (50%<) less rewards for executing pranks
Very Hungry (25%<) Prank Mode locked
Starving (0%) everything locked, you can only feed your pet
To feed your Monster, tap the Fridge panel in the bottom bar. There you can find the food you collected and use it to feed your pet. The Golden Cupcake 🧁 is a special item that can boost your Monster’s health beyond its maximum!
Map 🗺️
You can travel in Wug in search for Rankings (Leaderboard) and Friends!
Prank 👿
From the prank area you can disrupt others environment with your Pranks. Use them to other mess up others' room and get yourself XP and WBucks (not in the Demo)!
Players can access pranks by clicking on the Tab Bar. Once they're in they can select the prank they want to use by clicking on CHANGE. Once it's set they can press GO to visit the room of a random player. When in the room, players can tap on the screen to place the prank, choose another room ↪️ or exit Prank mode.
Players have 3 pranks, you can recover a prank every 4 hours from your last used. Using a prank resets the counter ⏰
Placing prank will give players experience and WBucks 🪙
📢 Free Prank for watching ads will not work in the Demo version of the game.
When players get pranked, search in your room for the prank and clean it by swipe it. You will be warned, and until is cleaned you won't be able to enter Build Mode. As a reward for cleaning pranks, players will obtain WBucks and experience.
